Manja is a girl's name in Sanskrit meaning
'cluster of blossoms'. This piece was made
with many many grams of black #11
Japanese beads. Embellishing beads
include: Czech glass pearls in light gray
and dark gray, long magatama beads,
square fuchsia sequins, Fuchsia and
Comet Swarovski crystals, silver-lined,
gunmetal and fuchsia seed beads, Czech
black pressed glass and black fire polish
crystals. The 'blossoms' are my Mum's
The Word pattern with 14mm and 18mm
rivolis. The pendant is a Jet Swarovski
crystal wrapped in Delica beads. This was
all woven on a base of diagonal peyote all
in black Japanese seed beads. The closure
is a wrapped rivoli with a hook closure
underneath to connect to a small loop on
the opposite side.  The width of the
necklace is approx 2" and the front
pendant area is 3". It measures between
16" - 17" in length.
